Rafael's 'Small Cowper Madonna'
And the Aryan Racial Soul

      REPRODUCED ABOVE is
the painting known as the "Small Cowper
Madonna." It was created by the High Renaissance artist Rafael in
1504-1505 (oil on panel, 23.4" by 17"). You may view it today in the
National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. - and it is even more
spectacular in person than in this digital version.

      Supposedly, it portrays Mary
and the infant Jesus (Mariam and Iso' in
their native tongue of Aramaic). But clearly, this is not the depiction
of a Roman-era Semitic woman and her child. Rather, it is a portrait of
an Aryan woman and toddler, with European features, fair skin and fair
        hair.

Indeed, it could be a painting
of Sieglinde and Sigurd from the Norse tradition, or of the historical
Thusnelda and Thumelicus (wife and son of Arminius).

For what has happened here is
that the artist has produced images of the Divine that emanated from his
racial soul. He could only envision the perfect mother and child as an
ideal consistent with his racial soul - regardless of the actual
ethnic/historical context. Through his racial personality as an artist,
he manifested the ideal of the Aryan racial soul in concrete form.
